Nazrul Shaikh

Nazrul I. Shaikh has an extensive consulting experience in quantitative marketing, supply chain management, and corporate social responsibility and has worked with various Fortune 500 firms such as Pepsico, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, American Airlines, Kimberly Clark, and Brinker. He is very active in student and community development and the Founder of Gift Hope.

Nishant Upadhyay is a finance professional with approximately 17 years of experience across various sectors and geographies. He is currently Head of Global Emerging Debt at HSBC Global Asset Management based in New York. He is responsible for the management of approximately USD 20 billion in client assets invested across various debt instruments issued by Emerging market countries and related entities. Prior to joining HSBC, Nishant was employed with Pacific Investment Management Company for a period of approximately 11 years. While at PIMCO, he was responsible for the management of client assets invested across global credit markets as a Portfolio Manager. Nishant is a passionate supporter of children and youth development through art, music and sports.

Mahima Hada is an Associate Professor and the Director of Marketing Analytics Programs at Baruch College, City University of New York. Her research focuses on using data to analyze firm’s marketing strategies and effects on firms’ performance, especially strategies related to customer acquisition through referrals in B2B and B2C markets. Her research has been published in premier journals like the Journal of Marketing and the Journal of International Business Studies. She serves on the Editorial Review Board of Industrial Marketing Management and the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing. At Baruch, she teaches Marketing Analytics and Marketing Fundamentals.

Zeenat Shaikh is a Geographical Information Systems professional based in Coral Gables, FL. She has extensive experience in designing and managing information systems and has worked with multiple pharmaceutical groups such as Pfizer and Bristol Myers Squibb. Zeenat is very active in local community development and helps small businesses design, set up, and run their IT systems.

Seanna joined the Gift Hope team in May 2018 as a Charity Officer. A California native and ex-Air Force brat, she lived all over the U.S. before moving to South Florida to earn a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami. Putting her degree to good use, she dedicates her daytime hours working fulltime as an Industrial Engineer in the financial services industry. She currently resides in Miami where she spends her free time practicing yoga, reading, and attempting to cook.

Bri joined the Gift Hope team in Summer of 2018 as a Charity Officer. Currently a third-year student at the University of Miami, she is majoring in Industrial Engineering with minors in both Mathematics and Business Law. In the past, Bri has interned for the Society or Women Engineers (SWE) National Headquarters and continues to conduct research under her professors at the University of Miami in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy. Her devotion to clubs and Greek organizations on campus has made her job much easier as a middleman between donors and charities. Off the clock, she's an avid podcast listener and enjoys reading at the beach.

Henry joined the Gift Hope team in May 2018 as a product developer. Born and raised in Connecticut and eventually moving to Charleston South Carolina then to Miami he has lived up and down the eastern coast of the United States. Henry is currently attending the University of Miami as a senior majoring in Industrial engineering and minoring in economics. He has designed, developed, and coded software products for a variety of companies in the manufacturing, financial, real-estate and energy industries. Henry will reside in Miami until his graduation in May of 2019 where he spends his free time scuba diving, fishing, and creating IOS apps.
