Alpha Kappa Psi is a Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity founded in 1904 with the purpose of developing its members into principled business leaders. Originally founded by 4 men at New York University, the professional organization now has over 298,000 initiated members at 219 universities in 4 countries. Alpha Kappa Psi has grown to be the oldest and largest business fraternity in the world! With an extensive network of alumni, members are able to land opportunities at some of the most profitable companies in the world. As one of the best professional co-ed business fraternities, we are truly preparing our brothers for a life of success. The University of Miami’s Beta Pi chapter was established in 1941. We currently have over 100 active brothers who are dedicated to a life of leadership.

Alpha Kappa Psi’s National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 2020

Health & Wellness

Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on one, specific charity per year. For the 2020 year, AKPsi will be donating to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a subsidiary of Vibrant Emotional Health, which is a nonprofit network providing 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources, and best practices for professionals. They are built up of more than 150 crisis centers all over the country

In December of 2016, the Beta Pi chapter lost our brother, Tahir Kurji, to suicide. We have decided to find various ways to honor his name, one being partnering with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in order to bring more awareness to suicide and mental health.
