Phi Sigma Sigma-Light it Up Blue Autism Awareness Night

April is Autism Awareness Month. Phi Sigma Sigma dedicates this month to supporting and providing individuals who have autism with the different tools and resources that are necessary for them. Autism is a developmental disability that impacts individuals in different ways. Our goal is to accommodate these individuals by building a more accepting and educated environment. We also want to raise funds to alleviate the pressure that families can encounter when trying to provide resources for their loved ones. We will raise funds through several fundraisers that include sensory activities that have been proven to assist individuals with autism who have difficulty processing senses.

Phi Sig chapters across the nation are taking an active role in Education every day through their commitment School and College readiness. As part of this commitment, the Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma will be donating school supplies and funds raised to help out families and student during the pandemic. We hope to make this donation of supplies annual in order to help children participate in the classroom with the best technology.

To further our commitment, we are selling Pink Facemasks during the Month of October to raise funds for the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Funds raised will help bring awareness and scientists learn as the foundation pursues its mission to find cures for Breast Cancer.

Phi Sigma Sigma-Light it Up Blue Autism Awareness Night
When: Wednesday, April 19th, 6:00-9:00 PM
Where: Mako Courtyard, Nova Southeastern University
April is Autism Awareness Month. Phi Sigma Sigma dedicates this month to supporting and providing individuals who have autism with the different tools and resources that are necessary for them. Autism is a developmental disability that impacts individuals in different ways. Our goal is to accommodate these individuals by building a more accepting and educated environment. We also want to raise funds to alleviate the pressure that families can encounter when trying to provide resources for their loved ones. We will raise funds through several fundraisers that include sensory activities that have been proven to assist individuals with autism who have difficulty processing senses.
