University of Miami’s Phi Delta Epsilon will be having their Stand for the Kids Event on Friday, October 25th from 10am-4pm. This event will take place on the University of Miami’s Foote Green. All of the proceeds made from this event will be donated to UM PhiDE’s local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Every year, thousands of children are diagnosed with terminal illnesses that are both life-threatening and financially demanding. It is our fraternity’s mission to raise money for families battling these illnesses so that they can spend more time enjoying life and less time worrying about the financial costs that are incurred while ill. It is our goal to raise $12,500 this semester so please consider donating to this amazing cause where we can help deserving children and families.

Every philanthropic event that our chapter hosts benefits Children’s Miracle Network and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. As of 2015, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have raised over $5 billion nationally for the children in our communities.
